These are my most common questions received from clients. Please reach out to me at djtonysignorino@gmail.com or give me a call at 321-222-3511 or 803-309-6619 if you cannot find an answer to your questions or concerns.
Unlike the larger DJ companies and Entertainment agencies. I do not schedule another DJ for your event. You are booking me direct and I will be with you every step of the way.
In the unfortunate event of an incapacitating illness or injury, I will reach out to one of the many other DJs that are in my network to rock your party. No Worries...you are covered!
I normally work alone at your party, but sometimes I do have an assistant on larger events or for more difficult equipment set ups.
Yes, I hold a Business License in the state of Florida and I am fully insured for your event venue with a $2,000.000 liability limit.
Yes, most likely. I am usually the first one in your facility and the last vendor to leave. It is normally a very long day and nourishment is a must to keep entertaining your guests. Some clients and facilities provide a vendor meal if this is the case at your venue, please remember that I would much rather have the same meal that you have chosen for your guests.
This depends on event location and set up difficulties. On average I try to be on location two hours before your event start time. This allows me time for a proper sound check and time to coordinate with venue staff and event planners.
I find the party usually goes much better when I play what my audience wants to hear. Therefore, I will encourage guests to make music requests unless you have requested a "Do Not Play" list. I am also usually connected to the internet and can usually play any commercially available appropriate song instantly.
Most clients are booking my services about 12 to 18 months from their event. There are some events on my books that are 2 years or more away. It is best to get your date reserved right away. There also could be cancellations and last minute availabilities...feel free to reach out anytime to check my availability.
Your contract will state "In the event of a cancellation, a written notice of cancellation must be received 60 days prior to any wedding or corporate event and 30 days prior to any other event or entire balance will be due. Deposits are non-refundable but are transferable to another date". This is a standard industry practice.
Yes, In most cases your deposit will only be $99.00 to book the date and issue your contract and your balance is not due until the day of event.
As long as your party is still going strong, and the venue will allow us to stay, I am usually available to stay for overtime. It is pretty common for events to go into overtime hours when I am in control of the dancing crowd.
Unlike a band, I do not take actual breaks at your event. It is common to step away for a restroom visit, equipment needs from the vehicle, or to have a meal, but the music never stops at your event.
I typically dress for the occasion, so if your event is at a barn venue in the summer I may not wear a jacket in an effort to be more comfortable. If your event is being held in a hotel or country club type venue I may dress a little more formal. I will always be appropriately dressed for your event.
Gratuities are never expected but are always appreciated.
If it is the weekend, I am most likely at an event. Please leave a voicemail, email or text and I will get back with you soon. Thank You for your interest!
